DATA ENTRY

Job:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our e-commerce team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately inputting product information, managing inventory data, and maintaining up-to-date records on our online store platform. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring data accuracy and consistency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Input and update product details, including titles, descriptions, pricing, images, and specifications, into the e-commerce platform.
• Ensure all product listings are accurate, complete, and optimized for search visibility.
• Perform regular data audits to ensure inventory and product information is up-to-date.
• Manage product variants (size, color, quantity) and ensure they are properly listed.
• Assist in processing and maintaining customer orders, returns, and exchanges.
• Support the team with data analysis tasks such as generating reports on sales, inventory levels, and product performance.
• Work closely with the marketing and product teams to ensure all product data aligns with promotional efforts and strategies.
• Monitor and correct discrepancies in product information or inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, purchases, and feedback in the system.
• Assist in other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in data entry, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel/Google Sheets).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an e-commerce or retail setting.
• Basic knowledge of SEO best practices for product listings.
• Experience using inventory management systems.
